Digital Natives - who are they and what do they do? A new generation of kids are growing up with mobile devices as a natural part of their world of work, communication, social networking and entertainment. Knowing how kids perceive and use mobile devices is becoming increasingly important as mobile application and device development grows and adapts to this upcoming market. Molecular conducted a usability study focusing on teen's use of their mobile devices and interaction with a mobile social networking application for a Fortune 100 client. This presentation covers the growing use of mobile devices by an increasingly younger demographic group, the ways in which kids use their devices, and how to capture this trend effectively in usability studies.
