Diane Patrick is a partner at Ropes & Gray, specializing in advising and representing employers in labor and employment issues. A former elementary school teacher in New York City, Patrick entered the bar and labor law practice in California in 1980. In 1986, she accepted a position as university attorney in the office of General Counsel at Harvard University, and later became director/associate vice president for Human Resources. Patrick joined Ropes & Gray in 1995, combining her passion for education with her background in labor and employment law.
