Preparing your employees and your organization for an influenza pandemic is a daunting task. The effects of a pandemic are complex and multifaceted. And the investments that organizations need to commit, in terms of human are financial resources, can be considerable. Flu pandemics primarily affect people. By taking an "Employee Centric" view of preparing your organization, you will protect your most important assets, critical operations and core processes.
This NEW program has been designed to provide a measured amount of instructive information that you will directly incorporate into two separate facilitated exercises. You will then be asked to deliberate over a series of pandemic scenarios together with other pandemic planners from across the region. This will give you an opportunity to also interact with other organizations.
Program Objectives
* Explore challenging and dynamic planning issues that are often unaddressed in other forums.
* Facilitate networking amongst professionals actively involved in pandemic planning.
* Increase your knowledge about employee protection strategies in the event of a pandemic
* Clarify your organization's role in a pandemic in relation to the government.
* Offer examples of best practices in employee protection strategies.
